Boston is a city known for its deep Irish roots, so it was only fitting for this scally cap to have a traditional shamrock embroidered on the back. Dubliners, natives of Ireland's largest city and capital, are extremely proud of where they come from and their culture--very similar to Bostonians. We both know what hard work, humble beginnings and hospitality is all about... Now these traits aren't to be taken advantage of, as a 'Dubliner' isn't gonna stand down if you come after their pride and culture. So whether you're Irish or not, all Bostonians have a little 'Dubliner' in them.

This cap goes out to all the good “Jakes” out there. Originating in the early 20th century within Greater Boston, “Jake” serves as an affectionate slang for firefighters in New England. To be referred to as a “Good Jake” is the highest form of commendation among Boston area firefighters, signifying exceptional skill, bravery, and reliability. The term likely stems from “J-Key,” derived from the telegraph keys utilized in the first street-corner fire alarm box system, pioneered in Boston. World War One veterans-turned-firefighters, accustomed to military-issue telegraph keys, possibly coined the term “J-Keys,” which eventually morphed into “Jake.” This slang, originally denoting a firefighter adept at Morse code communication under pressure, gradually became a commonly used term for firefighters in general. The Jake is a classic lightweight 8-panel cap with a red button, eyelets and brim, with interior yellow fabric and custom ‘Jake’ logo. As a nod to its legacy, this cap features the signature “J-Key” embroidered on the back side panel.

Growing up we didn't have the means to golf, but we loved the sport. At ten years old, my brother figured out a way to golf... for FREE. He got a job at a country club as a caddy. They offered caddies golf, at no charge, every Monday in the summer. The Caddy - Light Blue The only problem was getting clubs. Easy fix. My old man rummaged through the garbage in neighboring towns until he found a wooden pair that he would cut down to size for us to use. For years my brother and I would rip golf balls off our neighbors house and down at the baseball diamond. He dedicated his Monday afternoons during the summer to free golf, while caddying the remaining days of the week. He eventually earned enough cash to buy a used set. It was a proud moment for a young kid...and my father. So though a 'caddy' is thought as a glorified bag boy--to him it was a life lesson. If you want something--go out there and hustle for it.
